Detailed Instructions for Use

Step 1: Cutting the Carrier Tapes

Use the appropriate cutting tool (GSMTL20, GSMTL30, or GSMTL40) to make precise, straight cuts on the carrier tapes for optimal joint quality.

Step 2: Preparing the Splice Clip

Position the splice clip with teeth facing up on the placement pins of the splice tool to ensure proper alignment.

Step 3: Positioning the Carrier Tapes

Center both carrier tapes on the placement pins with cover tape facing up, securing them with the splice tool clamps for perfect alignment.

Step 4: Crimping the Handle

Carefully crimp the splice tool handle to join the carrier tapes firmly without damaging components.

Step 5: Removing the Release Liner

Gently remove the release liner from the splice tape to expose the adhesive surface, avoiding contamination.

Step 6: Applying the Splice Tape

Apply a single strip of splice tape to the cover tape, pressing firmly to create a wrinkle-free, secure joint.
