Instructions for Use
  • Cutting the Carrier Tapes: Use a precise cutting tool to accurately cut the carrier tapes. Ensuring a clean and straight edge is crucial for optimal splicing.
  • Removing the Release Liner: Carefully remove the release liner of the splice tape to expose the adhesive side. Avoid touching the adhesive to maintain its effectiveness.
  • Joining Carrier Tapes: Align and place both ends of the carrier tapes onto the first strip of the splice tape. Proper alignment is essential for ensuring a secure splice.
  • Pressing the Tape: After sticking the splice tape onto the carrier tapes, press it tightly at different locations along the tapes. This ensures a strong bond that can withstand the demands of the SMT process.
