Msi launches its first Indian laptop factory with two made-in-India products

According to Indian media The Economic Times reported on Tuesday local time, located in India's Milnadu state capital Chennai, the country's first laptop computer factory (MSI) officially put into production on the same day.
Msi said in a statement that India has become one of the company's fastest growing markets. As the demand for high-performance laptops in India continues to grow, MSI is pleased to contribute to India's thriving tech ecosystem by providing locally manufactured equipment that meets global standards.
Msi will initially manufacture Modern 14 (for the new generation 14 in the Chinese market) and Thin 15 (for the Star Shadow 15 Thin) lightweight game books at its Chennai plant under the "Make in India" target.

The Modern 14 and Thin 15, made in India, start at Rs 52,990 and Rs 73,990 respectively.
In the future, MSI also plans to launch a more powerful Thin series notebook to meet the diverse needs of Indian users.
John Hung, General Manager of MSI Notebook India, said: "India has long been a key market for MSI and the growing demand for high-performance laptops in the country was a key factor in our decision to start local manufacturing. We believe that this will mark the beginning of a new era for MSI. Setting up a factory in India helps MSI to further penetrate the Indian market and improve operational efficiency, while contributing to India's journey to become a global technology leader.
